Full-time Activities Assistant at Vista Prairie at Ridgeway in New Ulm. $16.26 to $19.93 an hour based on experience. Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. No nights, no weekends.

Ridgeway on 23rd is an assisted living and memory care community in New Ulm. As an Activities Assistant, you'll plan and lead the programs that make up residents' days: games, music, crafts, exercise, and outings. This is a hands-on role where you get to know residents personally and help them stay engaged and connected.

What You'll Do

  • Plan and lead activities and social programs for residents in assisted living and memory care
  • Help residents use their physical and mental abilities through games, crafts, music, and exercise
  • Build real relationships with residents by learning their interests and history
  • Support residents' emotional well-being through daily interaction and encouragement
  • Keep the community's atmosphere upbeat and welcoming
  • Drive the community bus for resident outings and appointments when applicable

What You'll Need

Required:

  • Able to read, write, and follow instructions
  • Able to do hands-on physical tasks, including leading exercise activities

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Experience working with elderly/dementia residents

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. No weekend or evening shifts required for this role.
